Join us on Saturday, August 1st at 10:30 a.m. at the Mad River Grange for a Public Workshop and City Council Study Session!
This session will provide an overview of the City’s draft 7th Cycle Housing Element, an important planning document that guides how Blue Lake will meet State housing requirements.
The workshop will:
- Present a summary of the draft Housing Element
- Provide an opportunity to ask clarifying questions
- Help prepare the document for City Council consideration on August 25th
Following Council review, the draft Housing Element will be submitted to the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) for a required 90-day compliance review.
Community participation is an important part of this process. Residents, property owners, and stakeholders are encouraged to attend, learn more, and share input.
