Chamber Meetings

The regular monthly meetings shall be held on the 2nd Monday of each month with the place and time to be designated by the Board of Directors (currently held at Mad River Brewery).

Activities

The 3rd Sunday in July is set aside for the annual Annie and Mary Day celebration, which occurs during Dell’Arte’s Mad River Festival. Sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce, and the Humboldt Folklife Society, this all day event attracts several hundred spectators and features old time fiddling and food booths in the park, a parade, and baseball games. There are also many craft booths and the funds raised at this function go to community groups and projects.

The Blue Lake Chamber of Commerce is also heavily involved with the Blue Lake Economic Development Commission and the Blue Lake Artisan's Collective. The Next Chamber Mixer, Wednesday, November 8, 2017, will be held at the Blue Lake Artisan's Collective!

Powers Creek District

Formerly known as the Blue Lake Business Park or the Industrial Park

The Blue Lake Powers Creek District is located on Taylor Way.  There is easy access to the park via a one mile industrial route through town off State Highway 299. The park is currently designated primarily for light industrial uses, however, the Planning Commission is working on a new "O" (Opportunity) Zone that would allow for mixed use.  There are 7 acres still available for development, and the City will consider proposals for long term leasing, lease to own, and sale.  Current businesses located there are the Mad River Brewery, Jewell Distillery, Wallace and Hinz (woodworking/processing), Fish Brothers, Tomasos food, Paradise Cay (publishing), and many more.
