Arts in California Parks program brings art, culture and community into California’s Parks by supporting culture bearers, tribes and local and non-profit organizations to create place-based community art experiences that are accessible and inclusive.
With this support, we’ll work together to create our project: Voices of the Land: Tribal Art at Blue Lake Bike & Skate Park, which will include new murals, retaining wall, kiosks and possibility a shade structure depending on donations and budget. We will be celebrating local indigenous heritage and culture in partnership with the Wiyot Tribe, Blue Lake Rancheria, Yurok Tribe, Hoopa Valley Tribe and all our local tribes at the Blue Lake Bike & Skate Park! ![]()
