City of Blue Lake Coronavirus Update

The City of Blue Lake is actively monitoring the Coronavirus situation and is engaged with the California Department of Public Health and our local and regional partners to prepare for a more robust community response when needed.

At this time the City is not canceling any recreation activities or events. The City is closely monitoring the CDC and the California Department of Public Health guidelines for community and employer actions for COVID-19 to ensure the city responds promptly. The city will take the appropriate steps to prevent the spread of Coronavirus and reduce strain on our community resources.

As a reminder, practice the following basic preventative measures:

  • Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water or hand sanitizer
  • Cover up when you cough and sneeze to prevent spraying droplets
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth
  • Stay home if you feel unwell. If you have a fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical attention and call in advance
