Blue Lake Rancheria Transit Authority
The Transit authority, partially funded by the City of Blue Lake, consists of a Transit line between Blue Lake and Arcata daily.

Bus Fares:

    $1.65 – one way, regular
    $1.25 – one way, senior & disabled
    $15.00 – ten ride pass, one way, regular
    $11.00 - ten ride pass, one way, senior & disabled
    $25.00 – twenty ride pass, one way, regular
    $20.00 – twenty ride pass, one way, senior & disabled

    Children accompanied by an adult:
    3 and under – free
    Ages 3 to 6 - 25 cents
    Ages 7to 12 – 75 cents

The transit does not operate on New Year’s Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, American Indian Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Airport and Airline Information

The Arcata/Eureka Airport is Humboldt County's regional airport offering commercial air service to a three county area; Humboldt, Del Norte and Mendocino Counties.  Located about 13 miles northwest of Blue Lake.  It is currently served by two commercial airlines.

Horizon Air, a subsidiary of Alaska Air Group, provides service between the Eureka/Arcata airport, Seattle, Washington, Portland, Oregon and Redding, California.  Recently Horizon implemented two direct daily roundtrip flights to Los Angeles International Airport for a new southern connection.

United Airlines flies between the Eureka/Arcata airport, Portland, Oregon, San Francisco and Sacramento, California, via its United Express subsidiary.

To reach Blue Lake from the Eureka/Arcata airport -- Exit the airport heading northwest on Airport Road, take US Highway 101 South. Exit onto CA Highway 299 to Blue Lake/Willow Creek heading east.
