Meeting Information
The Planning Commission is scheduled to meet on the third Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Skinner Store located behind City Hall. The Planning Commission meets on an as-needed basis when it is determined that there are items requiring the Planning Commissions review and/or consideration. Documents relating to projects are available for review at the City Clerk's office, 111 Greenwood Avenue, Blue Lake, CA, weekdays, 9:00 a.m. to noon, and l:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (707) 668-5655
City Planner
The City of Blue Lake contracts planning and engineering services through SHN, Inc. Garry Rees is assigned as the City Planner for the City of Blue Lake, and comes with several years of experience both locally and elsewhere.
Office hours for the City Planner are the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of every month, from 9:30-12 by appointment only. Appointments can be made over the phone or in person for a variety of issues, such as zoning questions, development issues, and much more.
